The Supreme Court-appointed all-women panel of retired high court judges has recommended that the rules on relief and rehabilitation in Manipur be changed to align with a pan-Indian scheme formulated by the National Legal Services Authority. The committee highlighted inadequacies in the Manipur Victim Compensation Scheme and suggested that it be brought in line with the provisions of the NALSA scheme.
