Biologists have documented a worrying shift in the breeding behaviour of Minervarya charlesdarwini frogs, found only on the Andaman Islands. These frogs now use human trash for spawning due to habitat loss, posing significant risks. The study, led by professor S D Biju and published in Breviora, underscores the need for conservation of this vulnerable species.
