A team from the CISF, led by senior officials, conducted a reconnaissance of RG Kar Medical College and Hospital. This follows a Supreme Court order for CISF deployment. About 180 CISF personnel will join Kolkata Police to manage security. Currently, 524 police personnel and 208 private security guards are stationed at the hospital.
