Isro used the SSLV-D3 to launch the EOS-8 satellite on August 16, marking the third and final development flight from Sriharikota. If successful, this will enable operational missions by Indian industry and NSIL. EOS-8, designed for Earth observation, carries advanced payloads for surveillance, disaster monitoring, and environmental observation for a year-long mission in low Earth orbit.
